Introducing doll therapy

Start gently and allow time for a response.

Try a warm introduction such as, “She’s so pretty and looks real, doesn’t she?” Allow your loved one time to notice and respond. If they are not interested, you can try again another day. If interest does not develop after a couple of introductions, doll therapy may not be the right fit for them.

The kit includes education and practical caregiver resources to help you introduce the doll thoughtfully.
